On September 16, 2024, we received an inquiry from an Algerian customer asking for a water well drilling rig with a depth of 750 meters. According to local geology, the rock is about 150 meters deep, consisting of sand, clay, and lime layers. Mohamed requires a top drive of 10,000 NM, a lifting force of over 40 tons, and a hydraulic pump output pressure of 30 MPa.
For water well drilling rigs with a hole depth of 750 meters or more, Unite has mastered the core technology very effectively. After our quotation, Mohamed expressed great interest in the 750-meter deep water well drilling rig. He even called us directly via video call 5 days later! During the call, we demonstrated some operations of the machine and answered his questions regarding engine brand selection and special power requirements.
In Algeria, most water well drilling rigs are designed for 750 meters, with very few 1000-meter rigs available. Based on market trends, the customer felt that the 1000-meter water well drilling rig would be more competitive in terms of efficiency and the drilling tasks it could undertake.
